 The day had just begun for the young worker as he got all of the Pokemon settled into their play areas for their first hour of being here. It was just another ordinary day of work for Dax and his Sentret, Lady. Dax had been working at the Pokemon Day Care Center for almost a year now, and Lady was at his side for every minute of it. Even though she could, Sentret often chose to stay with Dax rather than to go off and play with all of the other Pokemon. She'd found being around him just as fun, and Dax enjoyed every minute of her company.
After what he assumed was going to be the last of the morning pokemon to be dropped off, Dax went and sat behind the desk the hotel had set up for him in the room to start filling out some of the paper work on which people had sent their pokemon here from the hotel. He was usually updating the paper work a few times a day, just because people were often dropping off and picking up pokemon through out the day. Sentret pulled over her little pink stool that she'd gotten from Dax's mom and sat beside her owner.

Killian walked into the day care. Every morning he came in here and dropped off all but one of his pokemon. "Good morning Dax. Sorry I'm a little late today. I did a little training this morning with them." On his shoulder was his Victini Victory. Killian never left Victory at the day care and never but her in the Poke'ball. Grabbing his five poke'balls he called out each of his pokemon.
His Beheeyem Trick was the first to come out. Seeing where he was he floated over to Dax and greeted him.
Solosis came out next he flew over to the Sentret and smiled. "Good morning Dax and Lady it's good to see you again." She said using telepathy.
Next out was Bronzong she floated over to a group of pokemon and relaxed.
Chimecho came out and sang softly. She spun around Killian not wanting to be left in the day care center.
Dina the Hypno came out last he padded over to the cushion and laid down to take a nap.
Killian patted Halo, "You know I need to keep you here while I work on planning the shows. Don't worry I'll be back once I'm done planning tonight's show." Turning to Dax he smiled. "How have things been?"

Seeing someone else walking in not long after he had started his paper work, Dax got up to greet them near the door.
"Ah, Killian, I was wondering when you would come in. And no worries on the late part," he told.
Dax watched as Killian called out his pokemon, and he smiled and greeted each one.
"Great to have you, Solosis!" he told and Lady walked over to give him a hug, as she did to all of the pokemon.
Some trainers commented to Dax about his sentret being too friendly. They would tell him things like You shouldn't let your sentret trust every pokemon she meets and She's a pokemon, not a personal greeter. Dax could really care less though. All that mattered was what made her happy.
Dax nodded at Bronzong before she floated to some other pokemon.
"I promise we have some great activities set up for you today," he told chimecho, knowing they didn't like to leave Killian. That was common with some of the pokemon.
Nodding at Dina, he watched as he went to take his nap. Dax then gave his attention back to Killian.
"You know, the same as usual. Just been working, and when I'm not working, I'm planning for the next work day." Dax smirked at himself. He complained, but he knew it was what he enjoyed doing. "When's the show tonight?"

Killian liked leaving his pokemon here while he planned the shows. This way they got to have fun and mingle with other pokemon instead of being kept in the poke'balls while he worked. Victory hadn't left his side since they met when he was a kit. The two where inseparable and he never left her at the Day care center. Dina is really tired as you can see she'll probably sleep most of the time. Halo might be a bit clingy today. More so than usual just to warn yea. The rest will go about their normal routines."
Solosis smiled happily and hugged Lady back. She considered Lady a close friend and always enjoyed seeing her. "Is there anything I can help you with today Dax?"
Halo frowned and floated over to Dax and sort of slumped but continued to look at Killian.
"Yea I know what you mean. I'm just glad I was able to fit a training session in with these guys before I had to get to work. Tonight's a special night, apparently their is so big shot coming tonight so everything has to run smoothly." He didn't show how worried he really was. He didn't know who was showing up but he wanted to make sure everything went off with out a stitch. "It's at seven tonight, it's a dinner show so it should be interesting."

"That's alright, I'm sure with a little work, we'll be able to get her settled in just fine," Dax said, referring to him and Lady.
"I've got a ton of paper work, but nothing I would bother you with," Dax said, joking around with Solosis.
After being happily hugged back, Lady decided it was time to get to work. Being as ambitious as she was, Lady walked over to one of the shelves and grabbed some crayons. She then walked back and tried to show them to Dina, signalling that it was something the two could do together. She had a few plans in mind already. She often took on the challenging job of trying to get the more difficult pokemon to play with her.
"Sen?" she spoke with a huge Pokemon smile on her face.
"A big shot, hey? Wonder who it is. I think I'll have to stop by and see the show tonight," he told.
Dax really did enjoy getting to see the shows whenever he got the chance. Pokemon pick up was at six, but some pokemon ended up staying late so he didn't get to make many plans.

"I know I can count on you and Lady to take care of Halo and the others. I never worry when I leave them here with you." Killian tried to think about what tricks he wanted to do tonight and which pokemon he wanted to use. Victory would be Victory and adored her.
Solosis hovered by his head and looked down at the paper work. "Doesn't sound like much fun."
Dina cracked one eye open and looked at Lady. <"I don't want to color Lady I'm tired I've been training. Why don't you see if Solosis or Halo wants to color?"> He said in poke language before turning his back to the Sentret and closing her eyes again.
"I don't know they wouldn't give me a name. I wonder if they even know who it is. But I have to say I'm ten times more nervous than I normally would be."

It gave Dax a bit of joy to know that Killian thought his Pokemon were safe with him. There were some owners that came in and started drilling Dax like they were putting him up for president. Or worse, they would accuse him of things he didn't do. People were rotten. That's why Dax preferred to be around Pokemon all day. Yes, some of them were rotten too, but he always managed to connect with the lot of them. It was just easier for him. That probably made him a loser, but he didn't mind.
Dax chuckled at Solosis's reaction. Indeed, it wasn't much fun. But Dax didn't mind doing it. It was better to be organized then have a giant mess.
Lady sighed and then walked away, coming back with a pillow and showing it to Dina.
"Sen?"
[/color]she tried again. "Well I wouldn't be nervous. With your talent, I'm sure you'll knock their socks off," Dax told before realizing how stupid that sounded.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] • • • •

Dina was feeling bad about how she had treated Lady so when she came back she sat up. <"If you want to color I'll color with you. What ever you want to do"> She smiled softly at the pokemon. She really didn't like hurting other pokemon's feelings. After all she could always catch a nap later.
Killian laughed softly, "Looks like Lady is trying to make friends with Dina. That shouldn't be to hard Dina may be a little rough to begin with but she's a real softy."
Solosis spotted a pen and used psychic to pick it up and make it float over to Dax. "Here you go, need anything else?"
Killian couldn't help but feel relief when Dax spoke again. He was always nervous when performing for really important people. "Yea your right everything will go fine I'm sure of it."
Victory watched everything, she had never once stayed here but she was curious to know what they did here. "Victini, vi, vi, Victini," she flew off of Killian's shoulder and drifted over to Sentret. "Tini!"

Lady shrugged. She didn't really care what they did, as long as she could make Dina happy and comfortable in the Pokemon Day Care. After all, Dax seemed the happiest when all the pokemon were at ease, and she loved that. She wasn't passing up the opportunity to help out. Lady signaled over to one of the short pokemon tables next to the shelf with all of the art containers, and began to walk in that direction. She hoped Dina would be following her.
"Yeah," Dax laughed. "Lady just wants to be everyone's friend."
Dax picked up the pen and laughed.
"Why, thank you," he told her before looking back at Dax to continue their conversation. "Have any ideas for tonight's show yet?"
Dax watched as Victory floated over to his Sentret. It was something he didn't see to often. Sentret pulled a crayon out of a box from the shelf near the table and tried to hand it to Victory.

Dina got up and walked over to the table where she grabbed a piece of paper and began to draw.
Victory looked at the crayon and tilted her head than picked it up. She floated down to a chair and started to color. She looked to Lady and smiled. "Tini," she said softly.
Solosis smiled and than floated over to the tv where a pokemon tv show was on.
Killian couldn't help but watch Victory. She rarely ever left his side. Not because he didn't want her to but because she didn't want to. "Well I was thinking of starting with some simple tricks. You know the vanishing coin, the needle through the thumb trick and stuff like that. Than work my way up to some Levitation tricks and than to where I saw Victory in half. Than I was thinking for the finale I would try something I have been practicing with. It's something new so I can't tell you what it is."

"Sentret!"
[/color]Lady exclaimed with excitement in her voice. She absolutely loved it when everyone was participating in something. Plus, Victory never stayed, so she never got to see her do anything. It was like a treat for her. "That all sounds pretty awesome, and if it's something new, then I'm defiantly going to have to try really hard to come and see it," Dax told before adding, "One sec."He walked over to where a few of the Pokemon were watching a movie. The movie ended, and they were just sort of sitting there. Dax switched out the tapes and put in another VHS before wondering back over to Killian. "Sorry about that," he apologized.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] • • • •

Victory smiled sweetly than began to talk animatedly to Sentret. "Victini, tini, vic, vic, victini." It wasn't long before Victory's drawing began to take shape. It was a picture of Sentret and Victini.
Dina watched as Victory came over to them. She yawned and wondered if she could try and take a nap now that Sentret was playing with Victory.
Killian nodded, "Yea I hope you can come. I think you would really enjoy it. I just hope my new trick works it can be pretty dangerous if not done right. So I'm a little worried. But I'm sure all will work out fine. I wouldn't perform the trick if I didn't think me and Victory weren't ready."
Solosis cried out when the movie stopped and raced over to Dax and started spinning around his head. When he removed the tape and put a new one it she raced back to her spot. "Yay," she cried out in joy.
"Hey it's ok no worry. I could tell Solosis was pretty upset about the movie ending as where a couple of the other pokemon."

[/color]Lady said joyfully as she admired Victini's drawing or the two. Lady was happy to see that she had painted her. It made her feel important in a way. Lady's own art was supposed to be Dax climbing a tree. However, it looked more like a three year old child had drawn it. She really had no skill when it came to art, but it didn't matter to her. Dax told her that the only thing important was that she was having fun doing something. Happiness was the key to life, and thats what Sentret preferred to let herself live by. "I'm sure everything will go fine with your trick," Dax said, encouraging Killian. "I've seen what you can do, and it's pretty amazing. The last show I managed to catch left me speechless."Although Dax was enjoying the conversation, he still had a dull look on his face, and his words sounded a little cold. Most people that knew him understood that was just how he was and didn't take offense to it. With pokemon though, it was different. Dax smiled as Solosis did her little dance around his head. He was glad he had made her happy by something as simple as changing a tape. "Yeah, they really like their tv," Dax chuckled, watching the Pokemon near the television.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] • • • •
